A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Friday at 7:59 p.m. for fog and freezing drizzle with black ice until Saturday at 8 a.m. for Westmoreland Ridges, Fayette Ridges and Higher Elevations of Indiana as well as Westmoreland, Fayette and Indiana counties.
"Area temperature will fall below freezing and allow for any standing water from melting snow to freeze, which may lead to localized icy spots on roadways. Additional, patchy of freezing fog and drizzle are also possible, especially near the peaks of the higher terrain along the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania into the West Virginia higher terrain.
