Early-warning radar systems reportedly detected an unidentified aircraft entering Venezuelan airspace at eastern Bolivar state. The aircraft had its transponder turned off and carried no identification code. After checking with the Maiquetia Flight Information Region, authorities confirmed there was no flight plan, and the aircraft was therefore declared hostile.
