Delhi continues to bear the brunt of ‘toxic’ air after a brief improvement in the pollution levels. The capital woke up to a biting chill on Saturday morning, with smog blanketing several locations. Meanwhile, the Air Quality Index (AQI) plunged to 333 under the ‘very poor’ category today, December 6, 2025, at 7 am. Amid a sharp dip in temperature, most of the residents avoided outdoor exercise.

Several monitoring stations, however, reported AQI readings in the ‘poor’ range during the early morning hours on Saturday. The area around ITO was shrouded by a layer of toxic smog as the AQI dipped to 344 under the ‘very poor’ category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
