PORTLAND, Ore. — Interstate 205 will close in both directions at Portland's Abernathy Bridge Friday and Saturday night, the Oregon Department of Transportation said.
At 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, the bridge will close overnight for sign bridge installation as part of the Abernethy Bridge Project. Drivers should take extra commuting time if they plan to use I-205 before and after the bridge closures as well, ODOT said, due to ongoing lane closures.
On Friday, the bridge will be closed from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., then it will close on Saturday, from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday.
