Sariiah Sweeney led all scorers and pushed JP McCaskey girls basketball to a 49-27 win over Red Land in the Girls Basketball Tip Off Tournament Friday.

Sweeney had 21 points, including 14 in the first half. Sarai Lewis added 14 points, and Anastasia Cruz chipped in 12.

Carly Panckeri led Red Land with nine points and added three rebounds and three steals.

JP McCaskey earned its first win of the season, moving to 1-1. Red Land dropped to 0-2.
