In Murshidabad district of West Bengal, located in Beldanga, Humayun Kabir, a suspended MLA from Trinamool Congress, is preparing to lay the foundation stone of Babri Masjid on Saturday. His supporters have started moving towards the construction site with bricks on their heads since morning.

Beldanga and the surrounding areas are on high alert today. The Calcutta High Court had refused to stop the mosque construction on Friday. The court said- The responsibility of maintaining peace during the event will be that of the state government.
