BRENHAM, Texas (KBTX) - Blinn College trustees met Thursday for the first time since one of its most senior leaders resigned.
Former Vice Chancellor for Human Resources and Title IX Marie Kirby resigned two weeks ago after a KBTX investigation uncovered charges involving the sexual assault of a child that Blinn College says she never disclosed.
There was no mention of Kirby’s departure from Blinn College at the board of trustees meeting. Trustees also did not mention a restructuring of senior leadership, first made public last week, or dual investigations into the college’s Title IX investigations and hiring practices.
KBTX tried to ask Chancellor Mary Hensley and board members about the investigations and any policy changes they may have implemented, but no one wanted to talk.
