SHELBYVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - Giving patients with cancer a second chance at HSHS.
Thanks to a new AI-driven platform that flags abnormalities, patients are diagnosed with lung cancer before they even experience symptoms.
Cancer was found after a standard treatment plan at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, and the scan showed that it had grown and was dangerous.
Early detection findings like these can lead to more effective and less invasive treatment plans for patients.
