Indiana is beginning a new college financial aid season seeking a repeat of last year’s success in getting high school seniors to submit a form that can provide access to more than $1.4 billion.
The 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid filing window opened in late September, ahead of the typical Oct. 1 launch. Indiana’s deadline is April 15.
More than $400 million in state and over $1 billion in federal aid will be available.
