HORACE — Some Nativity scenes, like on at Shanley High School, are made with wood and shipping containers. Others go with the real deal.

There were four shows Friday, Dec. 5, at Jubilee Equine in Horace, featuring the facility’s many animals and a human cast.

The equine’s co-owners said it is their first year doing these productions, and they had no idea what the turnout would be.

According to them, they had more than 560 people at their first three shows.

“Really, it’s just all for the glory of God. It’s Christmas, and this meaning of Christmas, and that’s what’s been really fun to put across and recreating the Middle East. That’s been just delightful,” said Terrie Dahl, co-owner of Jubilee Equine.

There will be four more free shows at 6:30, 7, 7:30 and 8 p.m. Saturday.
