ST. CLOUD, Minn. — UND coach Dane Jackson has been around the National Collegiate Hockey Conference long enough to know how things go.
"Against a good opponent, on the road, in our league, things rarely go just the way you want it," he said.
But this UND hockey team keeps finding a way.
The Fighting Hawks beat St. Cloud State 4-3 on Friday night in the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center to improve to 6-1 on the road this season.
David Klee scored his first college goal, Will Zellers scored his eighth goal in the last eight games, while Dylan James and Cody Croal added tallies for the Fighting Hawks.
Eleven of UND's 12 forwards tallied a point. Oddly enough, red-hot Ben Strinden was the guy who didn't.
