Bhubaneswar : Odisha has witnessed a significant increase in tourist arrivals, with a total of 1,13,83,556 visitors in 2024-25, up from 1,00,14,175 in 2023-24, according to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
Responding to a query from MLA Dhruba Charan Sahoo, Parida attributed the growth to the government’s efforts to promote tourism in the state. The number of foreign tourists rose from 37,267 in 2022-23 to 56,547 in 2024-25, while domestic tourist arrivals increased from 85,87,087 to 1,13,27,009 during the same period.
