JAMMU, Dec 6: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday flagged serious concern over widespread airline disruptions and administrative delays that have left thousands of JKAS aspirants facing unprecedented stress ahead of the Preliminary Examination.
The CM noted that severe travel chaos triggered by ongoing airline issues has choked key routes, restricting movement for candidates scheduled to appear for the exam. The crisis, he said, has been compounded by Lok Bhavan’s delay in approving age relaxation— a relief measure granted multiple times in earlier years but still pending this time.
In a post on X, the Office of the J&K Chief Minister said Abdullah has expressed “deep concern” over the double burden of travel uncertainty and administrative indecision faced by aspirants.
