Netflix is making headlines this time by buying one of Hollywood’s most famous studios. The streaming giant, led by Ted Sarandos, has won a high profile bidding battle to acquire Warner Bros film and TV studios, along with HBO and HBO Max, in a massive $82.7 billion deal. This move gives Netflix control over the studio behind iconic projects like Harry Potter, Superman, Batman, Game of Thrones, The White Lotus and Succession, among others.
