BENGALURU: Bengaluru’s Silk Board area commuters have been facing traffic‑related hardships for many years. Although flyovers have been built on this route to ease traffic, the problem has not been solved.

The much‑awaited double‑decked flyover was partially opened last year on the Ragigudda and HSR Layout stretch, easing traffic. Now, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) plans to open another section for traffic soon and it is expected to greatly ease traffic.

With the opening of the double-decker flyover, traffic congestion that had increased near Central Silk Board was reduced to some extent. But because the construction on the other section of the route was not completed. Even now, commuters coming from HSR Layout to Ragigudda have to navigate through constant traffic
