Air India has capped economy class fares on non-stop domestic flights. This move aims to protect passengers from sudden price hikes. Meanwhile, IndiGo operations are severely disrupted. Over 100 flights were cancelled on Saturday, stranding thousands. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has directed IndiGo to clear all passenger refunds by Sunday evening. Airlines are also barred from levying rescheduling charges.
