SHOPIAN, DECEMBER 06: A district-level Integrated Health Information Platform (IHIP) and Outbreak Management Training Programme was today conducted by the District Surveillance Unit Shopian in coordination with the State Surveillance Office (SSO) Kashmir.

The programme aimed at enhancing real-time digital reporting and strengthening disease surveillance mechanisms across the district.

The training programme was inaugurated by CMO Shopian, Dr. Arshad Hussain Tak, who underscored the critical importance of accurate, timely and coordinated reporting for effective public health action. He highlighted that digital surveillance under IHIP has become an indispensable tool for early detection and rapid response to potential outbreaks.
