Srinagar, Dec 06: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) will conduct the JKAS (Prelims) examination as per the schedule, Chairman JKPSC clarified on Saturday.
The statement comes hours after the J&K Chief minister Omar Abdullah wrote a letter to Chairman JKPSC requesting him to postpone the forthcoming JKAS exam “by a reasonable duration, in the interest of the students.”
Talking to Greater Kashmir, Chairman JKPSC, Arun Kumar Choudhary said they will proceed with the examination.
“We will conduct the exams as per the schedule,” he told Greater Kashmir.
