The woman, identified as Happu Akhter of Habiganj district in Bangladesh, was traced to the Kunfer area of Chanderkote after police received specific information regarding her presence, a police spokesperson said. Investigations revealed that she had crossed into India without a passport or visa.

According to the spokesperson, verification showed that Akhter had been staying in the area for several days. A preliminary inquiry further suggested she had attempted to conceal her identity, raising “serious suspicio
