Several food products, consumer goods and vehicles were recalled over the past week, including popular shredded cheese that could contain metal fragments.

Shredded cheese
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has updated the risk level for a major recall of shredded cheese products.
Thousands of pounds of shredded cheese distributed by Great Lakes Cheese Co. Inc. were initially recalled on Oct. 3, due to possible contamination of metal fragments in the cheese.
It was classified by the FDA as a Class II recall on Dec. 1.
