The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) Saturday clarified that the JKAS prelims examination will be held tomorrow as per the schedule.

Speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), JKPSC Chairman Arun Kumar Choudhary said, “There is no change in the date of the exam. It will be conducted as per the schedule.”

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has issued a clarification on microblogging site X—calling social media posts about the exam deferment as ‘misleading.’

It has said the age-relaxation file sent by the government was received at Lok Bhavan on December 2 and returned the same day with a query on the feasibility of changing eligibility criteria just days before the exam.
