Honolulu police are investigating two incidents involving suspects who targeted senior citizens in Mililani.
In the two separate incidents, the victims had parked their vehicles when a suspect approached them, claiming that the victim had hit their car, according to a Honolulu Police Department news release.
“In both incidents, while the victim was talking to one suspect, a second suspect went to the victim’s vehicle and removed belongings while the victim was distracted,” police said. “The suspects then left in their vehicle and the victim discovered that property had been taken from their vehicle.”
HPD did not say where or when the crimes happened, but they ask anyone with information on the incidents to call 911 or CrimeStoppers at 808-955-8300.
