Amid the ongoing disruption due to cancellation of IndiGo flights, the Indian Railways said that it is running 89 special trains, starting Saturday, for the next three days. These trains will cover more than 100 trips during the period across various zones of Railways.
Central Railway will operate maximum 14 Special Trains Services to felicitate the stranded passengers. This includes Pune - Bengaluru , Pune-Hazrat Nizamuddin, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus(LTT )-Madgaon, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus(CSMT)-Hazrat Nizamuddin, LTT- Lucknow , Nagpur-CSMT, Gorakhpur-LTT, and Bilaspur–LTT.
Similarly, South Eastern Railway will run Santragachi-Yelahanka, Howrah–CSMT, and Cherlapalli–Shalimar train. Officials said that South Central Railway operated three special trains on Saturday from C
