A luxury hotel and restaurant could soon be coming to Olde Towne Daphne, but it’s going to take some city support before local developer 68 Ventures will break ground on the project.

The Daphne City Council on Monday postponed the first reading of an incentive package for the well-known area developer to build a three-story hotel and restaurant, citing a need to tweak the deal that would give 68 Ventures sales tax breaks for a period not to exceed 20 years.
