One of Cedar City’s most festive and long-standing holiday light extravaganzas is back in full swing.
More than 70,000 lights and a dazzling array of Christmas decorations adorn the home and yard of Ben Hohman and Marielle Boneau at 26 N. 1150 West in Cedar City, a short distance north of the new roundabout near Southern Utah University's football stadium.
Hohman told Cedar City News this is the 21st year he has done such a display, which is designed to raise money for Make-A-Wish Utah.
Hohman said the first several years of the display were at a rental residence on Harding Avenue.
“Then, my wife and I moved here 13 years ago,” he said of the couple’s current home on 1150 West. “We just add a couple thousand lights every year, some new things and keep going.”
