Pantone has announced its color of the year for 2026, and it is white. According to the description of the color in the announcement:

PANTONE 11-4201 Cloud Dancer [is] a lofty white that serves as a symbol of calming influence in a society rediscovering the value of quiet reflection. A billowy white imbued with serenity, PANTONE 11-4201 Cloud Dancer encourages true relaxation and focus, allowing the mind to wander and creativity to breathe, making room for innovation.

Along with the announcement of the color of the year, there is, of course, merch, like a $12 nylon keychain, and a mug, both of which, are, and I cannot stress this enough, white. Just imagine the joy your child will experience when they unwrap a container of Pantone-branded white Play-Doh on Christmas morning. 10
