The Norfolk Admirals want to see things change — and fast.
Their losing streak stands at seven after Sunday’s 6-2 victory by Florida before 3,664 at Scope, which completed a three-game, three-day sweep by the ECHL South Division-leading Everblades (15-5-1-1).
The Admirals (5-13-2-0) have lost 11 of their last 12 games and are last in the North Division.
Sunday, the struggles began 3:47 into the game, when Logan Will scored on a power play. Ben Brar doubled the lead at 8:19.
In the second period, Zach Berzolla put the Everblades ahead 3-0 before the Admirals’ Dawson Barteaux scored at 4:21.
Two more Florida goals put Norfolk’s deficit at 5-1 before Chesapeake native Brandon Osmundson scored with 3:46 left in the third period. Hudson Elynuik completed the scoring 74 seconds later.
