Sunday afternoon, the Indianapolis Colts lost quarterback Daniel Jones to injury in their loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and a new update suggests Jones' season could be over.

The starting quarterback went down in the second quarter when he awkwardly planted his foot to throw a pass. That resulted in Jones immediately signaling for the team's medical staff to check on him. With Jones seated on the field, he also removed his helmet, seeming to slam it in frustration.

Eventually, the Colts' staff walked him off the field and to the team's medical tent for further evaluation. Jones was later ruled out with an Achilles injury, with backup Riley Leonard coming in to replace him. However, Jacksonville handed Indianapolis its third-straight loss, 36-19.
