The foundation stone for the comprehensive renovation of Maa Tarini Peetha in Ghatagaon in the Keonjhar district was laid by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The ambitious project, which is expected to cost more than Rs 312 crore, intends to preserve the holy hub’s cultural and spiritual core while modernizing it with top-notch amenities. It is anticipated that the development work will be finished in a year.
Addressing the gathering, CM Majhi said, “I am blessed with the opportunity to serve Maa Tarini. My eight months of planning have now taken shape. The government will ensure that Maa Tarini’s seat becomes a world-class religious and tourist destination. There is no shortage of funds for this sacred project.”
