The Telangana government has decided to name prominent streets and roads of the Financial District, Hyderabad, after global corporations in a bid to give the city better global visibility. The Financial District houses several major IT and financial services companies and is considered the crown jewel of the city. The state government has approved the name changes just ahead of the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, which is being conducted on December 8 and 9.

The government has so far approved five names – Donald Trump Avenue, Google Street, Microsoft Road, Wipro Junction and Ratan Tata Interchange. Chief Minister A.
