New Delhi (08.12.2025): Parliament debate on Vande Matram seems akin to Chath Pooja sentiment of Bihar and with Assembly elections in 2026 not being too far, anyone opposing the National Song may prove to be detrimental. The BJP has been using such emotional overtures everywhere in the country and with Opposition parties already defensive on the issue of SIR, this emotional matter may drive the Bangla sentiment towards the BJP. Celebrating 150th anniversary of Vande Matram is part of the strategy that opposition often fails to understand and falls into the trap of the BJP.
