Ed Sheeran has set the record straight after he alluded to marriage struggles with wife, Cherry Seaborn, in new songs.
The couple has been married for several years and usually keeps out of the spotlight when it comes to details about their personal life.
Over the years, Ed, 34, has written numerous tracks inspired by Cherry, including Perfect, which he sang over the weekend at the Jingle Bell Ball.
However, when he dropped the deluxe version of his Play album, fans immediately noticed some songs appeared to suggest they had hit a rough patch.
After much speculation, he’s now defended his relationship with childhood sweetheart Cherry, explaining these were ‘extremities’ of his emotions.
