SWISSVALE, Pa. —

A man was taken to the hospital with injuries after being pistol-whipped during a home invasion in Swissvale.

Allegheny County Police said the incident happened a little before 6 p.m. Sunday on the 2500 block of Delaware Avenue. Advertisement

Police say preliminary information shows multiple people with guns entered the home and carried out the home invasion and assault.

The victim was last reported to be stable in the hospital.
