Erwin Martin, a former locomotive test engineer at GE Transportation, had a career idea for his daughter when she graduated from Seneca High School.

Martin had worked with graduates of GE's well regarded apprenticeship program and thought it might be a good fit for his daughter, Diana.

A three-sport athlete in high school, his daughter, now Diana Kitchen, was game to try.
