Cool temperatures and clear skies set the stage for this year’s Santa Claus parade in Cobden on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 29.

The annual holiday tradition rolled out of the Cobden agricultural grounds at 1:30 p.m., drawing another strong turnout as spectators lined the streets to take in the colourful procession. Floats were trimmed in garland, other decorations and Christmas characters ranging from the Grinch and reindeer to the guest of honour, Santa Claus himself.

Participants embraced the spirit of the season, donning Santa hats, elf outfits, reindeer antlers and an assortment of cheerful holiday gear as they made their way through town, much to the delight of onlookers young and old.
