MARS HILL - The town board approved its Small Area Plan to potentially bring a retail space and/or housing units near downtown.

During a public hearing Dec. 1, the Mars Hill Town Board unanimously approved its Small Area Plan for the parcel, located across from the library, in the area bounded by Mountain View Road, Anderson Street, Ivey Street and Short Street.
