LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — The Peckville Christmas House has been lighting up the neighborhood on Marion Street in Peckville for about 30 years.

Brothers Jeff and Matt tell Newswatch 16 their parents used to take them to look at Christmas lights when they were kids, and they decided to set up a display themselves. It started out small.

The display features more than 3,500 blow molds, lights, and other Christmas decorations, and it keeps growing every year. The brothers are constantly looking for new pieces. Decorating for Christmas isn’t just a tradition for the Harhut family; it’s a year-long affair. They start setting up in August.
