India Test and ODI skipper Shubman Gill, who is set to make his return from injury in the upcoming T20I series vs South Africa said that he was feeling much better after undergoing extensive rehabilitation at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. Gill had suffered a neck injury while batting in India’s 1st innings of the Kolkata Test against South Africa last month and had to retire hurt. Since then, he missed the 2nd test at Guwahati as well as the entire 3-match ODI series vs the Proteas. He has since been cleared by the CoE to take part in the T20I series, set to start from Tuesday.

“I’m feeling much better. I think the day that I came here, from that day till today, I’ve had quite a bit of skill sessions and some training sessions. So, I feel much, much better,” Gill told ‘bcci.tv’
