SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Savannah will reveal the winning name for its new pothole repair truck at 10 a.m. Monday.
City leaders and the Savannah Chatham County Public School System will unveil the name chosen through a student contest held this fall. Students submitted their ideas for naming the vehicle, and city employees voted for their favorite entry.
The student who submitted the winning name will be recognized during the announcement.
The naming contest is part of the city’s new “Pothole Patrol” initiative, which aims to improve repair capacity and response times citywide.
