A Delhi court today extended by four days the NIA custody of three doctors and a preacher arrested in the November 10 Red Fort blast case.
The four – Dr Muzammil Ganai, Dr Adeel Rather, Dr Shaheena Saeed and Maulvi Irfan Ahmed Wagay – were produced before Principal and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna as their 10-day custody ended.
The NIA has arrested seven people so far in
what investigators describe as a “white-collar” terror module first uncovered by Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The agency says it is pursuing multiple leads and conducting searches across states to identify others involved.
The blast occurred when an explosives-laden car, driven by Dr. Umar-un-Nabi, detonated outside the Red Fort, killing 15 people and injuring several others.
