MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Jo Ann Deal with the Better Business Bureau of Monroe joined Good Morning ArkLaMiss to discuss extended warranties.

Deal says extended warranties make sense for items that are expensive to fix or replace, but should be skipped on easily repairable or replaceable items - or on items that already have a long parts or labor warranty.

Deal says an extended warranty is: “It’s a service contract that you buy separate from the manufacturer’s warranty that already comes with the product. It can extend how long you’re eligible for a repair, give you accidental damage coverage, or even include perks like a loaner device or an in-home repair service.”
