One week after a valiant effort against a very good Denver Broncos team at home, Washington came out and laid an egg against the struggling Minnesota Vikings on the road.
The offense was stagnant all game as both quarterbacks looked rattled against Brian Flores’ aggressive defense. The defense, as it’s done most of the season, looked like it couldn’t stop a U10 Pop Warner football team.
The Results – a 31-0 BLOWOUT, and yet ANOTHER injury to quarterback Jayden Daniels, who just can’t seem to stay healthy. Aside from Daniels, Washington lost tight end Zach Ertz to a gruesome knee injury on what many deemed a dirty hit while he was off the ground trying to secure a Mariota pass.
Coach Quinn tried to come out after the Denver game and tell reporters – “We lost, but we’re not lost anymore”.
