NEW DELHI: Punjab Congress on Monday suspended Navjot Kaur Sidhu after she claimed that someone who wishes to become party's chief ministerial face in Punjab has to offer a suitcase of Rs 500 crore in the party. "Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu is hereby suspended from the primary membership of the party with immediate effect," Party's Punjab president Amarinder Singh said in an office order.
