FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The American Red Cross is again asking donors to give blood this holiday season for the National Month of Giving.

According to organization officials, donors of all blood types, but especially O positive, O negative, and B negative donors, are urgently needed.

Anyone who can give is asked to make an appointment on their website or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

Leaders say those who donate from Dec. 8-18 will be emailed a $15 Amazon gift card, and those who donate from Dec. 19, 2025, to Jan. 4, 2026, will be given a long-sleeve Red Cross t-shirt.
