A team from the Goa Police was despatched to Delhi to trace and arrest the owners of the night club who are wanted in the case

PANAJI: The Goa police on Monday confirmed that Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, both owners of Birch by Romeo Lane, a nightclub where a devastating fire claimed the lives of 25 people on Saturday fled the country for Phuket, in Thailand, the same night of the incident.

The police officers, who travelled to Delhi in a bid to trace the accused, didn’t find them at their residence in Delhi. A look-out notice had been issued via the Bureau of Immigration (BoI) on Sunday evening.
