EXCLUSIVE: Here’s a first look at Yellowjackets star Kevin Alves in his directorial debut, coming-of-age heist pic Lucky Weekend .

The cast of his indie pic includes Yellowjackets co-star Alexa Barajas, Gen V ’s Jessica Clement, newcomer Clarice Wood, Jesse Camacho ( Locke & Key ), John Daniel ( Wayward ), Agape Mngomezulu ( Ginny & Georgia ), Jack Ettlinger ( Death Note ), Luke Hutchie ( Ghosting ) and Alex Ozerov-Meyer ( Another Life ).

The film is being made through Alves’ 31 Twelve Films, with Julian Smither and Barajas acting as producers. Post-production is currently wrapping ahead of a planned festival run in 2026.

Alves is also the writer on the coming-of-age story, in which 18 year-old Gabe finds out his best friend has stolen his winning scratch ticket
