“It is not every day that you have the Chief Minister here to interact with you. This is an opportunity to tell us your ideas, your challenges, and what more the government can do to support your aspirations,” Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma told Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) during an interactive session at Dkhiah West on Monday.
The Chief Minister was speaking at the inauguration of the first-phase hostel of the Ephatha Society in East Jaintia Hills, an institution working to build an inclusive and supportive environment for PwDs. Khliehriat MLA Kyrmen Shylla was also present at the programme.
