Area Agency on Aging
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Area Agency on Aging and the Campus for Creative Aging are launching new Memory Cafés for people with cognitive changes, such as dementia, across Berrien County.
With a grant from the Berrien Community Foundation, these Memory Cafés will be hosted three times every month in 2026 in New Buffalo, Niles, and Stevensville, free for those with cognitive changes and their families.
The Memory Cafés will allow people to engage in art, enjoy games and puzzles, and learn about interesting topics in a safe and welcoming environment.
The first Memory Café is scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the New Buffalo Township Library at 33 N. Thompson Street. The second Memory Café will be held on the second Thursday of ea
