On Friday, I had the privilege of witnessing not only an incredible display of athletic talent, but a real show of character, grit and teamwork as I watched the Seneca Indians and the Carthage Tigers compete in their respective classes for a state title in football in St. Joseph.
Seneca won the Class 3 title, Carthage fell in a close overtime battle for the Class 5 crown. ×
