JENA, La. (KNOE) - The Jena Police Department announced that the local Christmas parade is rescheduled due to the Jena Giants making it to the championships.

The Jena Christmas Parade , originally scheduled for Dec. 12, has been moved to Dec. 19. The date change is to accommodate the Jena community’s trip to the Dome.

For the first time in program history, Jena punched its ticket to the championships with a 30-6 win over Union Parish High School. They’ll face the Sterlington Panthers in New Orleans on Dec. 12.

The Sterlington Panthers are the defending non-select division III champions.
